About Us

Who we are

GG Pediatric Hospice is a specialized extension of Golden Gate Hospice Care, an organization that has been providing end-of-life care to patients and their families in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley since 2012.

Understanding that children require a unique and delicate approach, we created GG Pediatric Hospice to offer them a tailored care environment. Our commitment is to ensure their well-being, relieve their pain, and support their families, allowing them to focus on sharing moments of love and connection.

Our Mission

To provide high-quality hospice care that prioritizes the comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being of children with life-limiting illnesses while offering unwavering support to their families.

Our Vision

To create a world where every child facing a serious illness receives not only the best medical care but also emotional and spiritual support, ensuring that their journey is filled with love, comfort, and cherished memories.

Our Values

  • Kindness: We care for each child and family with warmth, understanding, and empathy.
  • Dignity: We honor each child’s unique journey and respect their wishes and needs.
  • Family-Centered Care: We support the entire family, ensuring they feel empowered, heard, and cared for.
  • Excellence: We strive to provide the highest standard of medical, emotional, and holistic care.
  • Legacy & Joy: We believe in creating meaningful experiences and treasured moments for children and their families.

Our Compassionate APPROACH

Every child is unique, and so is the care we provide. At GG Pediatric Hospice, we focus on bringing warmth, comfort, and dignity to each child’s journey through:

  • Pain and Symptom Relief: Our team gently manages discomfort, allowing children to focus on what truly matters—playing, laughing, and spending time with loved ones.
  • Emotional and Psychological Support: Through counseling, play therapy, and creative activities, we provide emotional space for children and families to navigate this journey with love and strength.
  • Family and Sibling Support: We know that a child’s illness affects the entire family. That’s why we offer guidance, activities, and support for parents, siblings, and caregivers to ensure they never feel alone.
  • Legacy and Memory Creation: We help children share their stories and leave a lasting impact through keepsakes, artwork, and meaningful projects that their families will cherish forever.

Where We Provide Care

Our priority is to make care as accessible and comforting as possible, allowing children to feel at ease in familiar surroundings. We offer:

In-home hospice care

Keeping families together in the place they feel safest—home.

Facility-based care

Partnering with hospitals and pediatric centers for additional support.

Community programs

Organizing activities, outings, and therapy sessions to enhance quality of life.

Financial Assistance

We believe that financial limitations should never prevent a child from receiving essential care. GG Pediatric Hospice works closely with Medicaid, private insurance providers, and nonprofit organizations to ensure families receive the support they need. For those facing financial hardship, we offer assistance programs so that every child gets the care they deserve without added stress for their family.
